Where does Hearts Leap tuition go?

Open ended, age appropriate materials designed to spark curiosity and exploration
Knowledgeable and caring teachers with expertise in the field of early education, many of whom have been with Hearts Leap for years, or even decades. Our teachers are offered comprehensive benefits packages, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Our teachers are also able to receive ongoing professional development with the support of ICRI/Hearts Leap.
Low ratios exceeding what is required by licensing
Twice daily, fresh, organic snacks at all locations, and homemade hot lunches at Lakeview
Opportunities to build community and lifelong friendships at catered parent parties, morning breakfasts and our annual (free admission and dinner) auction
Enrichment classes taught by guest teachers such as yoga and dance

Twice annual $200 materials fee
Optional pizza lunch at HL, HLB, and HLK
Tuition downpayment at the time of enrollment that goes towards tuition July of the last year of enrollment in a HL program
Subsidies and tuition assistance
Hearts Leap accepts all county subsidies. Please email nell@icrichild.org if you are enrolled in a subsidy program and would like to ask about using it at Hearts Leap.
In the 2025-26 school year, we are providing 15 families with discounts/financial assistance totaling more than $140,000. This includes generous discounts to our staff, and support for families experiencing unanticipated circumstances such as job loss and illness. Funds are limited. Please contact your school directly to inquire.
We are able to offer this generous support with the help of our wonderful Hearts Leap families, who contribute to the tuition assistance fund at our annual auction fundraiser.
Annual Rate Increase
Most years, Hearts Leap rates increase about 5%. These new rates are determined following careful analysis, with the maintenance of a high-quality program as our priority and go towards:
Increased salaries for our teachers, supporting their retention & attraction of new teachers
Supportive benefits for our staff
Increase in our lease amount
High-quality learning materials
